About > FAQ

  • All dogs must be fully adult vaccinated against Rabies, Bordetella (kennel cough), and Distemper/Parvo (dhlpp, dlpp, dapp, etc). This general will only happen once the puppy is at least 4 months old.

Dogs must also by fixed once they reach a medically appropriate age. We take this case by case and once they either have their first heat for females or they become an issue for other dogs in the yard, we will ask you to suspend daycare or boarding until they can be fixed at the appropriate time.

  • Once the hormones start to flow, dogs can become targets for other dogs. Even if they have no behavior issues of their own, their scent can drive other dogs crazy. Conversely the unfixed dog can become aggressive or territorial until they are fixed.

  • Unfortunately, no. Being in proximity to other dogs can cause their heat cycle to come again and the general hormones they produce while not in heat can still cause them to be a target or overly territorial.

  • We have publicly accessible webcams here on the website and our app. Or call us cor a check in, or just to hold up your camera shy baby that found a blind spot. Or email if your out of phone call range. Or DM! Really any way. We don’t mind taking a moment to let you know how your baby is doing.

  • The sooner the better as we can let you know if any of the requirements to board or come play are out of date or need to be meet. BUT if you find yourself in need of our services last minute, just give us a call and we’ll make it work.

  • Whatever makes you feel comfortable. If you would like them to have lunch or dinner, just let us know if you want to use house food or bring a little bag or container with their food from home. They have access to constant fresh, filtered water and we are happy to put house bedding in their suite for nap time. But just coming with a smile and a lead is perfectly fine.

  • We highly recommend bringing their food from home. Canned, home made, powder, etc, it doesn’t matter its simplicity or complexity, we will make it for them.

Bedding is also encouraged to make them feel at home. Just keep in mind that we can’t guarantee the condition it returns in and will run it through the wash if it gets dirty.

Toys are great to keep them company at naptime and overnight, just please make sure they don’t crinkle or squeak as that will disturb the other dogs overnight.

We prefer to use our own bowls. So unless they have a specialty bowl like a slow feeder, we ask that you not provide bowls.

Medication and vitamins are essential to bring, our expert staff will make sure your baby stays on the medication and vitamin regimen necessary to maintaining their health.
